Kriminelle, mit dem Versenden von Erpresserschreiben, kommen auf immer neue Ideen. Als neue Idee zu beschreiben ist vielleicht nicht ganz richtig, denn wie wir wissen, werden Firmen schon seit einigen Jahren mit Hackerangriffen, Erpresserschreiben, oder sonstigen Handlungen konfrontiert.
In dem Erpresserschreiben, wie er weiter unten angehängt wurde, gehen die Cyberkriminellen von vornherein davon aus, dass der Empfänger ein Firmennetzwerk betreibt. So soll angeblich das gesamte Netzwerk kompromittiert sein. Der Empfänger wird daher darum gebeten, das entsprechende Lösegeld zu zahlen, um damit auch die Kompromittierung wieder aufzuheben. Jedenfalls versichern die Erpresser dieses. Ganz ehrlich? Selbst wenn es so wäre, würde ich mich nicht darauf verlassen, dass die Erpresser mich in Ruhe ließen. Im Gegenteil: lässt Du Dich einmal erpressen, wirst Du immer erpresst.
Und noch etwas: wäre ein Rechnerverbund bzw. System kompromittiert, ist es keine gute Idee auf Erpressungen einzugehen und somit die Erpresser in ihrem Handeln zu unterstützen und mit zu finanzieren.
Ich schlage vor, auf solche plumpen Erpressungen gar nicht erst zu reagieren, sondern einfach die E-Mail zu löschen. Diese Erpresserschreiben werden nämlich wahllos an irgendwelche Empfänger versendet.
